James Rodriguez is fit to start the 237th Merseyside derby as Carlo Ancelotti selects his strongest XI to face Liverpool today.
Rodriguez was one of a clutch of Blues' players who made a trans-Atlantic back on international duty earlier this week but the Colombian, compatriot Yerry Mina and Brazilian star Richarison are all fit to play.
Lucas Digne has shaken off a knee injury to start, Allan, Andre Gomes and Seamus Coleman are also fit again and take their place in the line-up.
New goalkeeper Robin Olsen is on the bench alongside fellow new recruit Ben Godfrey.
Ancelotti has, therefore, made two changes from the win over Brighton before the international break with Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson dropping to the bench.
Jordan Pickford remains in goal, Coleman, Michael Keane, Mina and Digne make up the back four.
Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Gomes make up the midfield three with Rodriguez, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison the front three.
Olsen, Godfrey, Davies and Sigurdsson are joined on the bench by Fabian Delph, Alex Iwobi and Bernard.
