Everton announce new sponsorship deal as partnerships continue to bolster club accounts

Everton have signed a new commercial deal with a company that operates in the cryptocurrency market.

The Blues today announced eToro as the club's new 'official online trading partner' with their branding having a presence at Goodison on matchdays.

eToro - described as a "global multi-asset investment platform" - are said to have over 11m users and help people invest in technology such as Bitcoin, as well as more traditional stocks.

Alan McTavish, Commercial Director at Everton, said: “We are delighted to welcome eToro to our portfolio of official club partners.

"We look forward to developing our partnership and are excited to see what can be achieved by bringing blockchain technology into the world of football.”

Iqbal V. Gandham, eToro UK Managing Director, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Everton and join the club at an exciting time before the start of the season.
