Virginia returned to the Blues in January after struggling for game-time on loan at Reading.
He made just three appearances in all competitions for the Championship side.
However, the youngster was recently named on the bench by Ancelotti for the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Goodison Park to continue his involvement with the first team squad.
