Everton goalkeeper Jonas Lossl could make dramatic deadline day transfer

Jonas Lossl could leave Everton on deadline day and return to Huddersfield Town.

The ECHO understands the Danish goalkeeper is a late target for his former club who are in need of a No1 following a head injury to the on-loan Kamil Grabara.

Lossl has not featured for the Blues this season after moving on a free transfer after spending two seasons with the Terriers.

The 30-year-old signed a three year deal at Goodison and arrived with the intent of putting Jordan Pickford under pressure but has yet to feature.

And new manager Carlo Ancelotti is employing a rotation policy with his back-up stoppers on matchdays with Lossl alternating with Maarten Stekelenburg on a game-to-game basis.

Everton could allow Lossl to leave tonight with Joao Virginia returning from a tough loan spell at Reading.

The goalkeeper is looking to cement his place in the Danish national team squad for the upcoming European Championships.
