Everton given double injury boost as Jonjoe Kenny and Cenk Tosun sent transfer message

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Lucas Digne and Alex Iwobi are both available for Everton’s clash with Leicester City tomorrow.

The pair missed Everton's 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup on Sunday.

But as predicted by Ancelotti at his pre-Wednesday press conference on Friday afternoon, the pair are fit for selection.

However, Everton will still be without Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Allan, Fabian Delph and Niles Nkounkou for the game at Goodison Park.

"We have back from the last game Digne and Iwobi,” the Everton manager told the media on Tuesday afternoon. “We are without Delph, Gbamin and Nkounkou. The others are all good.”

The Blues boss also provided a transfer update, with there being just five days to go until the winter window closes.

Although the Everton manager has continually ruled out his side bringing in any new players in this month, both Jonjoe Kenny and Cenk Tosun have been linked with moves away from the club.

"I have no news at the moment,” the Italian said when asked for an update. “We are not looking for other players. The players that are here like to stay here."

Ancelotti added: "I don't know if they are talking with other teams. They are our players and we will see if they are talking with others.

“I'm not going to ask until they talk to me [about it] - and until now they didn't."
