Everton forward Moise Kean sent off on international duty for Italy u21s

Moise Kean suffered an unfortunate night as the Everton striker was shown a straight red card whilst on international duty.

The former Juventus man was in action in for Italy Under-21s against the Republic of Ireland at the Tallaght Stadium.

The 19-year-old clashed with Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott - and after swapping shoves with one an other, the referee decided to dismiss the pair after 64 minutes.

While the red card appeared to be soft, it is the latest set-back for the youngster whilst representing his country.

Just last month Kean was omitted from the Italy senior squad by way of punishment after arriving late for a team meeting at the Euro Under-21 championships during the summer.

Senior side boss Roberto Mancini remarked at the time: "Professionals must always behave well.”

Joining Everton for an initial fee of £25.1m that could rise to £27.5m, the forward is yet to find the net for his new club side.

He was been handed a watching brief in his side's two Premier League outings before the international break.
