Everton have been forced into a late change with James Rodriguez appearing to pick up an injury in the warm-up.
Carlo Ancelotti was all set to name an unchanged side in consecutive games for the first time this season but Rodriguez was forced out of the team after picking up a problem during the warm-up.
Alex Iwobi looks set to replace Rodriguez in the starting line-up for the game with Aston Villa.
Joao Virginia has now been added to the bench.
Everton had been hoping that having handled the Colombian’s comeback from a calf problem recently, with care, he would be fit enough to play injury-free during the run-in.
But the 29-year-old will miss tonight’s game with Villa having started the last four matches.
Everton have yet to comment on the nature of Rodriguez’s injury.
