Everton will finally be able to welcome supporters back to Goodison Park for their home fixture against Wolves in May.
The visit of Nuno Espirto Santo's side to Merseyside, originally scheduled for May 15th, will now take place between May 18th-20th - subject to further confirmation from the Premier League.
That places the game after the current date set by the government for the next stage of coronavirus restrictions being lifted, finally allowing supporters to return to Goodison for the first time since December.
The Blues are expected to be able to welcome more than the 2,000 fans they housed for matches against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United earlier this season.
Full details on the ballot for the Wolves match will be revealed in due course by the club.
Meanwhile, Everton finally received a date for their away fixture against Aston Villa - which was originally scheduled to take place in January.
A number of positive Covid tests at the Midlands club meant that game was postponed and it will now take place on Thursday May 13th.
A third fixture change for the Blues was also confirmed on Friday afternoon, with the match against Sheffield United at Goodison now taking place on Sunday May 16th.
