Everton FIFA 19 update revealed as Lucas Digne given big upgrade and new trait

Everton defender Lucas Digne has been in fine form so far this season, scoring four goals and providing another four assists for his teammates, in what has been a standout year for the full-back.

Since signing from Barcelona in August 2018, the French defender has been one of the Toffees' most impressive and consistent performers, proving solid in defence and a real threat in the attacking phase too.

EA Sports have taken this form into account and given him a major upgrade on FIFA 19, as well as giving him a brand new trait.

Here are the latest changes to Lucas Digne's profile on FIFA 19, as of April 29 2019.

Lucas Digne - Upgrade

Digne is already a great player on FIFA 19, rated at 81 overall and one of the best players at Everton, behind only Jordan Pickford, Idrissa Gueye and Gylfi Sigurdsson in terms of rating.

The French defender has been given a big upgrade in the latest FIFA 19 update.

The former PSG defender's crossing (82-83), long shots (71-73), reactions (79-80), shot power (79-81), sliding tackle (82-83) and standing tackle (80-81) has all been upgraded.

The defender's potential has also been upgraded from 84 to 85, which could make him the best player at the club.

He's also been given the Long Shot Taker (CPU AI Only) trait, which makes him more likely to take on long shots when he's playing against you as an AI opponent in career mode or kick-off mode.

Expect him to get a big upgrade in FIFA 20, and he might even sneak in to the upcoming TOTS promotion.
