Everton FC jobs you can apply for right now

With a new manager just appointed, these are exciting times for Everton FC - and you could be joining them in one of the key roles currently being advertised.

Former Liverpool FC manager Rafa Benitez has taken over at Goodison Park after signing a three-year contract.

It followed the surprise departure of Carlo Ancelotti at the beginning of the month to re-join Real Madrid.

Rafa, who famously steered the Reds to Champions League glory in Istanbul in 2005, becomes the first person in the game's modern history to have managed both of the city's world-famous football clubs.

William Edward Barclay, who was part of the original foundation of Everton in the 1890s and later the breakaway Liverpool club, is the only other man to cross the city divide to manage both clubs.

But Everton FC is not just about football - Everton in the Community is one of the Premier League's leading community schemes thanks to the quality and reach of its various programmes.

Since 1988, Everton's official charity has been at the forefront of social intervention across Merseyside, using the power of sport to motivate, educate and inspire people not just in local communities but around the world to improve their life chances.

Here are some of the jobs currently available.

Inspire tutor

Closing date: July 7

Everton in the Community is considered one of the UK's top sporting charities and this job involves joining its education and employability team.

The successful candidate will deliver a variety of school-based alternative educational and short enrichment programmes to target secondary school children.

You will need to engage and enthuse young people aged between 11 and 18 identified as being at risk of underachieving due to a variety of different factors.

Ordinarily, the team is based within the Everton in the Community campus at Goodison Park but in light of the ongoing pandemic, the team is working on a remote basis. This position is on a fixed term basis, aligned to funding.

People support co-ordinator

Closing date: July 11

This job is for an experienced HR administration coordinator. Ordinarily, the team is based at the iconic Royal Liver Buildings but in light of the ongoing pandemic the team is working on a remote basis.

Starting Well co-ordinator

Closing date: July 13

This programme within Everton in the Community will support the transition into fatherhood with a core focus on both physical and mental health.

The Starting Well Coordinator will coordinate and deliver this programme effectively. You will design an engagement and lifestyle intervention programme targeting those in the transition to fatherhood and help raise awareness of the support available across the Liverpool City Region.

The ideal candidate will essentially have knowledge of physical and mental health challenges associated with entering fatherhood and experience of delivering physical activity and education-based programmes to at-risk of groups.
