Everton fans unveil banner in protest of club's hierarchy during Liverpool game

Everton supporters once again unveiled a banner in protest of the club's hierarchy during the Merseyside derby.

The Blues were 2-0 down after 20 minutes following goals from Liverpool's Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah.

Despite pulling a goal back shortly before half-time through Demarai Gray, some supporters made their feelings towards the club's decision makers.

A handful of fans were also captured leaving Goodison Park at 2-0 down, clearly frustrated with the team's current form.

The banner read: "We demand Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, it's about time our club did too."

It was previously shown ahead of Everton's 1-0 defeat to Brentford on Sunday.

Before kick-off in London, supporters revealed the banner in the away end.

The banner was shared on social media in the run-up to the weekend's game against Brentford as frustration among supporters grew.

It was another disappointing defeat for Rafa Benitez's side as they were undone by a penalty from Ivan Toney.

It seemed the Merseyside derby was heading in a similar direction before Gray's goal breathed some life back into a struggling Everton side.
