Everton fans lauded James Rodriguez after the Colombian produced a moment of magic to give his side the lead against Leicester City.
Rodriguez came into the Premier League game at Goodison Park in fine form, having recorded two assists in Everton ’s 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup on Sunday, and he picked up where he left off against the Foxes.
The Colombian picked up a loose ball on the edge of the area, beat Wesley Forfana with some quick footwork before unleashing a perfect shot with his right foot 30 minutes into the match.
It was his fourth Premier League goal of the season, to go with his three assists, but his first since netting twice in Everton’s 4-2 win over Brighton on October 3.
