Everton supporters have been reacting to the breaking news this evening that the designer of the Blues' new stadium in Bramley-Moore Dock is no longer involved with the project.
The architect confirmed in a statement on his Twitter account that he was 'not currently engaged' with Everton's stadium project.

Meis said in his statement that he remains "fully confident'"that the project will be concluded.
But he added that "how [him no longer being involved] was handled is one the greatest disappointments of my career".
