Everton fans have been applauded for the huge away following they took to Sheffield Wednesday last night.
Over 4,500 Blues fans watched on as their team progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup thanks to a brace from Dominic Calvert-Lewin .
It seems the Wednesday supporters were impressed by Everton's following, taking to Twitter to praise their opponents after the game.
Owls fan Andrew Fox wrote: "Some away following tbf Tuesday night vs a lower league side in league cup. #swfc #efc"
Another fan recalled the great battles the two sides have had in the past and spoke of the respect between the two teams.
Calvert-Lewin gave the Blues the lead after six minutes then quickly added a second four minutes later.
The striker's brace was enough to give his side an important victory and send them through to the next round.
The fourth round draw takes place on Sky Sports Football and Main Event after Liverpool's game at MK Dons with ties to be played week commencing October, 28.
