Everton fans notice the other VAR 'mistake' against Manchester United

Everton supporters believe Gylfi Sigurdsson should have been awarded a penalty during the draw against Manchester United.

Sigurdsson was ruled offside after a deflected Dominic Calvert-Lewin found the back of the net in the final minutes with the Icelandic international left on the floor following a challenge from Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The decision infuriated Carlo Ancelotti who was red carded after the final whistle by referee Chris Kavanagh while Calvert-Lewin branded it a 'disaster'.

Fans reacted on social media and criticised VAR when noticing the heavy tackle from Wan-Bissaka after Sigurdsson had directed an initial effort on goal.

The result leaves Everton in 11th place in the Premier League, five points behind Manchester United who are fifth.
