Everton fans have noticed one important improvement from hummel as the club's 2021/22 away kit was released on Friday morning.
The Blues are entering the second of a three-year deal with the Danish sportswear brand after what was a hugely successful first season as a partnership.
And hummel have continued their theme of drawing from the club's illustrious history by giving supporters a new away kit based on "The Black Watch" strip of 1881/82.
The black kit, with "burnt orange sash", can be pre-ordered online or in store from today, with it then released on sale from June 4.
Supporters have reacted to the kit all morning with many having waited years for a recreation of this famous strip, having seen a number of fan-made designs over recent seasons.
And one aspect of the new kit in particular has caught the eye of many.
One drawback that some supporters had with hummel's 2020/21 offerings for the Blues was that the club crest on the front of the shirts was not embroidered on.
However, the brand clearly seems to have listened to the views of the fans, as they have rectified that issue for the release of the 2021/22 away kit.
And many supporters have taken to social media to praise hummel for their work.
Everton will wear their new 2021/22 away strip for the first time on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Manchester City for the final match of the current campaign.
