Everton fans need to create 'bear pit' atmosphere for Leicester City cup clash

Caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson wants Goodison to be a "bear pit" for tomorrow's night quarter-final clash with Leicester City.

Everton welcome the in-form Foxes and Big Dunc hopes they receive a red-hot reception from the Blues' faithful.

Ferguson, who remains in temporary charge of the team following Marco Silva's sacking, says Brendan Rodgers' side will provide a "real tough test" and believes the key will be having Goodison in full voice.

"I mean they don’t come easy, do they?" Ferguson said.

"We’ve got Chelsea, then Manchester United and now we’ve got Leicester. They’re a great team, very strong in the transition, so yeah they’re going to be a real tough test, I think they’re undefeated in 10 games so it’s going to be a big ask.

"But we’re at Goodison, we’re at the fortress and we need to make it a bear pit."

Ferguson has been in charge for games with Chelsea and Manchester United, so far, and will remain in the dugout for the visit of Arsenal on Saturday should Everton's search for a new permanent manager carry on.
