Jordan Pickford may be set to hit the headlines for the wrong reasons once again after he was caught up in a tangle with Manchester United's Harry Maguire during Saturday's Premier League encounter.
The England stopper ended up catching Maguire in the chest after dropping a free-kick at the United defender's feet during the second half of the match, which finished with the visitors taking home all three points.
Everton took the lead early on through Bernard but two goals from Bruno Fernandes and a late third from Edinson Cavani secured the result for United to register their third consecutive Premier League away victory.
Pickford previously landed himself in hot water after his tackle during last month's Merseyside derby rendered Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk unable to play for the rest of the season.
However, Everton supporters on Twitter noticed what appears to be a push by Maguire aimed at Pickford just before the incident.

@mike10342064 : I don't understand the criticise of Pickford there? Maguire clearly pushed him when he was catching the ball hence why he dropped it. Wasn't a free kick given? Ie that's why no penalty was given? Fans look for what they want not what happened.
