Everton fans make hilarious Wikipedia edit for Niels Nkounkou after Fleetwood Town showing

It's fair to say that Everton fans have been impressed by recent arrival Niels Nkounkou.

The 19-year-old left-back was signed from French club Marseille over the summer.

He made his debut in the 3-0 win over Salford City in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

And the youngster was handed his second competitive outing in an Everton shirt in the same competition at Fleetwood Town on Wednesday night and impressed as he provided an outrageous assist for Moise Kean to complete the scoring.

The teenage Frenchman's immediate impact has prompted an amusing edit to the his Wikipedia page.

The career section was changed to read: "Nkounkou made his professional debut for Everton in a 3-0 EFL Cup victory against Salford City in which he impressed immensely, forming an effective attacking partnership down the left-hand side of the pitch with fellow youngster Anthony Gordon and receiving praise from many fans.

"In his second start for Everton, Nkounkou was absolutely boss again and a constant threat down the left hand side. If only he was right-footed eh.

"Mad that Leighton retired and we still have the two best left backs in the Prem."
