The Italian manager has since begun to steer the ship over the last two games and he has continued on the good work temporary boss Duncan Ferguson had started in the wake of Marco Silva's sacking last month.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored twice for Everton either side of Fabian Schar's strike for Newcastle this afternoon as Ancelotti's team took home three points on the heels of a 1-0 victory over Burnley on Boxing Day .
This led to chants of 'Carlo Fantastico' after the contest as Everton fans continue to enjoy the festive period under their new boss.
Ancelotti's arrival as the long-term successor to Silva has already given the supporters a boost due to his pedigree but it's his attacking style of football which is also now getting results.
