Everton fans have reacted with delight following the long-awaited public reveal of the designs for the club's proposed new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
American architect Dan Meis gave a detailed explanation of his team's artwork to an invited audience of Evertonians at a special event at the Titanic Hotel, next door to where the development is earmarked to be built and was given a standing ovation by the supporters in attendance after delivering his speech.
The 52,000 capacity waterfront development is set to have brick, glass and steel exterior and feature a single tier home end among steep stands built as close to the pitch as possible as part of a commitment to making the proposed new stadium a 'fortress'.
Meis' designs seemed to be received with universal approval from Blues.
