Everton supporters vented their anger on social media after watching their side fall to another dismal defeat on Saturday.
The Blues ended a run of four straight Premier League losses with a comfortable victory over West Ham last weekend, but were unable to turn around a dreadful recent run of away form.
Strikes from Pascal Gross, Neal Maupay from the penalty spot and an own goal from Lucas Digne earned Brighton a 3-2 victory at the Amex Stadium despite and Adam Webster own goal and a Dominic Calvert-Lewin finish seeing Marco Silva's side 2-1 up at one stage.
The hosts won a penalty for their second goal of the afternoon in extremely controversial fashion, with VAR eventually ruling that Michael Keane had committed a foul inside the box.
Everton supporters were incensed by the decision after the match and quickly took to social media to vent their frustrations.
However, the fact that the Blues had suffered another disappointing defeat and had still failed to win on the road this campaign was not escaping many - and fans still slammed the side for their reaction to the controversial strike.
Well, well, well, yet again we’ve gone behind and not come back to win. 25 away games without a win and we fall to bits after they equalised again! Hard done by with the pen but we don’t react after. They did and took the game to us and won. Pfft, getting beyond a joke now...

We just have to accept that many of out players are not good enough.
Cant fault MS this time around. He put in players to do a certain job & they failed.

Pathetic, lost all composure from one lousy VAR decision. Showed no character to step up & win the game. Brighton simply danced passes from their end to ours & put the ball in the box for us to gift them a winning goal out of pure nerves & panic. Another birthday ruined!
