Everton fans have reacted in unison to Paul Merson's verdict on the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti .

Everton fans are pleased with the announcement considering the pedigree that the former Chelsea title winner brings to the mix.
Ancelotti has also won domestic titles in Italy, Germany and France, while the 60-year-old lifted two Champions League trophies with AC Milan and another whilst at Real Madrid.
But former Arsenal star Paul Merson believes that Everton are in 'Cloud Cuckoo Land' after choosing Ancelotti.
"Everton are living in Cloud Cuckoo Land getting Carlo Ancelotti in as manager," Merson explained in his Daily Star column.
"Don't get me wrong. He is an unbelievable manager. He’s managed all the top teams in the world. But I haven’t known him to take a job like this. Why?
"They’ve only got him because they are paying him big money. Who else would give him that kind of money? No-one. I hope he doesn’t just go through the motions."
On Soccer Saturday, Merson added: "He is not going to be able to bring in world class players. This bloke has been winning trophies.
"I don't get it. This is one of them, big wages, I'll take that. That's just me."
However, Everton fans have countered this opinion by offering up their views on social media:
