Everton fans delighted as Crystal Palace troll Liverpool and Sky Sports

Crystal Palace seem to be feeling a little left out of Sky Sports' coverage of the Premier League restart.

The broadcaster's promotional material building up to the Eagles' game against Liverpool has very much focussed on the Reds and how close they are to a maiden Premier League trophy.

In response, Palace decided to produce their own parody video to build-up to Wednesday's game, and it seems to have gone down very well with both their own supporters and Everton fans.

The video features dramatic shots around Selhurst Park before a voice takes the mickey out of the Sky advert's over the top voiceover.

It says: "On the verge of a top half finish, it's time to renew history.

"Crystal Palace against another club on Wednesday night."

It was a parody that was well received by Everton and Palace fans alike, and even many Liverpool supporters could see the funny side.

Liam replied: "Oh this is good. Really good."

Plenty of fans praised the social media team at Palace for coming up with the video.

Jack replied: "Admin was won twitter for the week. Superb content."

Will said: "I think your admin deserves a pay rise."

Joshua said: "This is absolutely fantastic. Give that entire social media team raises."

James added: "Admin’s on fire, your Twitter feed is terrified."

The tweet got over 3,500 retweets, with over 193,000 views, showing how popular it was.
