Everton fans are loving what this Blue said on ITV's Jeremy Kyle

When a man on The Jeremy Kyle Show was asked a very important question about his allegiances to Everton FC , he knew exactly what to answer.

Twitter user Dave Downie (@daviddownie17) posted a snippet from the ITV daytime TV show with the caption: "Man after my own heart #EFC".

It shows a couple being quizzed but the outspoken host, as the EFC supporter accuses his partner of 'trawling the pubs for the man she had an affair with."

Everton hero Tim Cahill makes major career decision

Clearly things are at breaking point, and there is even a double lie detector test.

Despite the difficult situation, there is one thing this Toffee can always rely on.

In the clip Jezza asks the hardcore fan: "Season ticket or her?"

Without flinching or a moment of hesitation, he responds: "Everton," leading Jeremy to squeal and lift his legs up in horror.

And it seems a lot of Blues agree with his sentiments, with Dave's tweet being liked over 700 times and retweeted over 200 times.

One said: "What a silly question even my missus would know better than to ask that."

Another commented: "Everton everyday of the week."

Everton transfer rumours rated - Blues reignite Malcom interest and eye move for Chelsea striker

And a third simply added: "good lad."

Now that that thorny issue is solved, as if there were any doubt, there is now just the question of those double lie detector results...

*This was a repeat, but you can catch The Jeremy Kyle Show on ITV1, weekdays from 9:30pm
