Sidibe latest as Juve enter race

Everton have the option to sign Djibril Sidibe permanently at the end of his loan deal from Monaco this summer, but according to reports in Italy, they’re facing competition from Juventus.

Calciomercato, cited by Sport Witness, claim the Serie A giants are set to renew their interest in the World Cup winner, having previously been interested prior to signing Danilo last summer.

However, the report adds Juve will only move if Everton decide against signing Sidibe with him expecting to be available for €15m.

Ancelotti offers Gomes update

Carlo Ancelotti believes Everton midfielder Andre Gomes is 'ready to play' against Arsenal on Sunday.

Gomes returned from an ankle dislocation suffered against Tottenham Hotspur in November to feature in a behind-closed-doors practice match at Finch Farm last weekend.

Ancelotti says a conversation with the Portuguese midfielder will now determine whether or not he starts at the Emirates.

Palace explain Tosun loan option

Steve Parish claims Crystal Palace have an option to purchase Cenk Tosun at the end of his loan spell from Everton.

The Turkish striker joined Palace until the end of the season in January and has scored one goal in three appearances.

And Parish believes there is ‘no reason’ why he ‘couldn’t’ join the Eagles on a permanent deal this summer.
