James Rodriguez backed to succeed with Everton in Premier League after failure of Manchester United duo
A former coach of James Rodriguez has tipped the Colombian to be a big success at Everton.
Rodriguez is expected to complete a move to Goodison Park shortly, and it is seen as a major coup for the club to secure the Real Madrid attacker. The Colombian was on loan at Bayern Munich recently, but has struggled for form and consistency with Real Madrid.
Now, frmer Colombia manager Hernán Darío Bolillo Gómez has reiterated his belief that Rodriguez can thrive at Everton when the deal is confirmed.
He told told El VBar de Caracol Radio [via SportWitness ]: "James is like one of our family. He is a close friend of my son; they grew up together.
“I wish James nothing but the best, I believe in him, I have always believed in him.
“He is a great player, a very good person. and he is not as big a party animal as they say. I know that, and my son knows it.
“He is a man who lives for football; he likes football; he is happy and calm.
“He went to a more difficult football … Verón went to English football and had to return, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado and Falcao also.”

Everton transfer boost as Thomas Lemar rejects offer from FC Porto
Thomas Lemar has rejected the chance to join FC Porto, and didn’t even listen to the proposition, according to AS .
Lemar joined Atletico Madrid from Monaco, and the 24-year-old has since been linked to Wolves and Everton.
It is believed that Atletico are willing to sanction a deal to sell the Frenchman, and are asking in the region of €25million to do so.
