Everton evening headlines as images of new stadium revealed and Morgan Schneiderlin latest

Here are your Everton evening headlines for Friday, June 12.

Images of new Blues stadium revealed by architect

Two new images of the Toffees’ proposed new stadium have been revealed by architect Dan Meis.

The club submitted proposals for the brand new 58,000 seater ground at Bramley-Moore Dock last winter and are hoping to receive a decision on their planning application this summer.

Meis, the architect for the project, shared two never before seen concept images of the state of the art new ground on his social media.

Update of future of Blues midfielder

Reports in France claim that Everton are in talks with Ligue Un side Nice over a potential deal for Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Blues midfielder has struggled for form and fitness in recent years following his switch from Manchester United in 2017.

With the 30-year-old deemed surplus to requirements at Goodison Park, talks are said to have taken place with the French side, but the Echo report no conclusion has been reached.

Everton hope to try and sell the player this summer with his current contract set to expire in twelve months.

Sidibe Everton future in doubt

Djibril Sidibe’s future at Goodison Park is unclear with the club reportedly unwilling to make the player’s loan move permanent.

The Blues had previously agreed to a clause to sign the AS Monaco full back for £12.8million this summer, however, allowed the option to lapse on June 1.

Everton do hope the Ligue Un side will allow the player to remain at the club for the remainder of the current campaign, but RMC Sport suggest that Sevilla are keen on his signature.

The Echo report that the player’s future on Merseyside will depend on whether Jonjoe Kenny remains on loan at Schalke for another year.
