Everton evening headlines as hummel hint at new kit design

Here are your Everton headlines for the evening of Monday, May 25.

Gylfi Sigurdsson feels ‘great’ as Premier League restart preparations ramp up

Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has opened up on his fitness as preparations for the restart of the 2019/20 Premier League season ramp up.

The Icelander made his return to Finch Farm this week for small group training with his Everton teammates and believes that he is in good shape ahead of a potential return to first team action in a matter of weeks.

“My wife is with me 24/7 and puts up with me when we lose and things aren’t going well, so she pushes me every day,” Sigurdsson told Everton’s official site.

“My body still feels great so… it’s hard to say how many years I’ve got left. But I feel physically better than I probably did when I was 20.

“It was nice to get back into training and see some faces, even though we are obviously keeping a big distance between us, and to actually train with someone.”

Price tag for Everton midfielder target revealed

Allan has recently been linked with a reunion with former Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti and Everton have now learned what the Serie A side would demand for the midfielder.

Royal Blue: Richarlison takes time out to call Everton fans at home

Football Italia claim Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has set the asking price for the 29-year-old at around £63million and could be persuaded to let the midfielder leave this summer.

Allan was a key figure under Ancelotti, but has lost his starting place since his departure, playing just two full matches under new manager Gennaro Gattuso.

Hummel hint at new Everton kit gets fans talking

Everton’s new kit manufacturer Hummel have dropped a hint at what the club’s new strip for the 2020/21 might look like.

The Danish apparel maker struck a club record agreement with the Goodison Park for the next three year deals, with Hummel set to pay between £8million and £10million a year.

No official designs have been unveiled or leaked, but one concept design of an away kit has got the attention of Hummel’s Twitter account.

“If @hummel1923 get anything close to this then they’re onto a winner. This colour should always be our away kit. Outstanding sir,” one fan tweeted in reference to the design, to which Hummel replied with a blue heart and eyes emojis.
