Everton duo hoping to play their way to January loan moves

Beni Baningime and Morgan Feeney are hoping to play their way to January loan moves.

The Everton Academy pair have been dogged by injuries in recent weeks but both are fit again and are targeting moves away from Goodison this month.

Feeney made his return to the under-23s fold on Monday night and scored the equalising goal in the 1-1 draw with Southampton.

Baningime, meanwhile, is expected to make his return from a shin problem next Monday when David Unsworth's side welcome Arsenal to the Pure Stadium in Southport.

Baningime went out on loan to Wigan Athletic last January but injury meant he only made one appearance for the Championship side before returning to Everton at the end of the season.

A move to Denmark, with both Brondby and Silkeborg both interested, fell through late in the summer window.

But the 21-year-old is looking to go out on loan this month in search of first-team football.

Feeney, 20, is entering the final six months of his Everton contract and is also looking for a loan move before the deadline on January 31.
