Everton demands set as Moise Kean to Juventus transfer talks continue

Everton were tonight insisting that they remain in negotiations with Juventus over the transfer of Moise Kean.

But there is growing confidence on both sides that a deal can be done before the window shuts on Tuesday night.

Kean is ready to agree to a return to Juve which will see him initially join on loan but with the Italian giants under obligation to buy him for a set fee of somewhere between £20-25m.

It has been suggested today that Juve want to take Kean on a two-year loan deal that includes a commitment to turn the deal into a permanent one in the summer of 2023.

Kean joined the Blues in £27m deal in the summer of 2019 but has failed to settle at Goodison and spent last season on loan at Paris Saint Germain.

The French side wanted Kean to return this season but have, so far, only been prepared to offer a straight loan.

Everton have insisted they were only prepared to let Kean leave the club again this summer if they had the guarantee of a permanent sale in the future.

And the Blues continue to iron out a deal with Juve for the 21-year-old.
