Everton confirm Richarlison injury boost ahead of Watford visit

Everton have confirmed that Richarlison is back in full training ahead of their clash with Watford at Goodison Park this weekend.

The Brazil international has been out-of-action since last month's 3-1 victory over Burnley, picking up a knee injury after a controversial challenge from James Tarkowski.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin also being sidelined with his own issue, the Blues were hopeful of being able to welcome back Richarlison sooner rather than later.

The 24-year-old has been pictured at Finch Farm in recent weeks both working in the gym and doing individual sessions to keep himself in condition.

And, on Thursday, the club confirmed that he had re-joined full training with the group ahead of his former side making the trip to Goodison on Saturday.

Everton have been playing Salomon Rondon as a lead striker in the absence of both Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, despite the summer signing not having a pre-season before arriving on Merseyside.

The England international will be out for a further number of weeks after suffering complications in his recovery from a thigh problem.

Rafa Benitez will give further updates on Richarlison's fitness when facing the media on Friday afternoon ahead of the upcoming match against Watford.
