Everton confirm quadruple injury blow ahead of Manchester United fixture

Everton will be without four key players for their match against Manchester United on Saturday while forward Alex Iwobi is also a doubt.

Rafa Benitez's side travel to Old Trafford level on points with United in the Premier League but know they will need an impressive performance if they are to cause an upset.

Speaking ahead of the match manager Benitez confirmed Richarlison and Andre Gomes would miss the match and also dismissed reports suggesting Seamus Coleman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin might be fit.

"I saw in the press people talking about Seamus Coleman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin - but they are not ready yet," he said at his pre-match press conference. "They started on the pitch little by little but they are not ready for this game."

When further pressed on availability for the match Benitez admitted former Arsenal forward Iwobi could also miss the encounter unless he comes through a late fitness test.

He added: "Alex has a little problem and I'm not sure if he'll be available for tomorrow. But I'm really pleased with the way he's working and training. I think he's improving and he's enjoying that. We can improve him more because he's working so hard - he can be a much better player by the end of the season."
