Everton have confirmed the arrival of Neal Maupay from Brighton on a three-year deal for an officially undisclosed fee.
The Blues have been desperate to bolster their attacking options over recent weeks particularly following the departure of Richarlison earlier in the window, and with speculation surrounding the future of Anthony Gordon. Frank Lampard confirmed his confidence that a move would be made by his side earlier on Friday, and that has proven to be the case.
Maupay has signed a contract until June 2025, but will not be able to face former club Brentford on Saturday. Everton were in a race against time to register the forward before the 12pm deadline to make sue he could join his new squad for the trip to west London on Saturday.

The 26-year-old has been a regular with Brighton in the Premier League since their promotion, bagging eight goals in each of his last two campaigns and scoring ten back in 2019/20.
Everton, meanwhile, have been without their main striker so far this season in Dominic Calvert-Lewin as he continues his recovery from his latest injury problem. Salomon Rondon has stepped into the starting 11 for the last two matches, with Gordon being used as a false nine in the opening two games of the campaign.
Maupay becomes Lampard's sixth signing of the summer with James Tarkowski, Dwight McNeil and Amadou Onana all also arrival on permanent deals - alongside the loan arrivals of Ruben Vinagre and Conor Coady.
