Everton will take on Preston North End in a friendly match at Goodison Park on Saturday, 5 September.
It will be the final game of a shortened pre-season schedule ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The behind-closed-doors encounter will kick off at 3pm.
It falls one week before the Blues are set to start competitive action, with a trip to Spurs currently pencilled in for Saturday 12.
The TV fixtures are yet to be announced for the initial phases of the new term, so that game may yet move to a different point over the opening weekend.
Everton are in action this afternoon away to League One outfit Blackpool.
And another friendly tie will be played on Tuesday 1 September at Blackburn Rovers.
All three pre-season clashes will be streamed live for Season Ticket, 2019/20 Season Hospitality and Official Members on evertonfc.com.
