Everton complete deadline day signing of Josh King

Everton have completed the deadline day signing of Josh King.

The 29-year-old joins the Blues on a short-term deal from Bournemouth where he was into the final six months of his contract.

King has been eyeing a return to the Premier League ever since the Cherries' relegation in July.

The striker received an offer from Fulham today but decided to join Everton on a contract until the end of the campaign.

Everton are believed to be paying a loan fee to Bournemouth.

Carlo Ancelotti saw Cenk Tosun leave on loan to Besiktas earlier on in deadline day and despite saying he was not "desperate" to add cover, the club did make a late move to sign King.

Once a deal to send Anthony Gordon out on loan was agreed, the Blues made their move for King and out-muscled Fulham who were also keen on the Norwegian.
