Everton are closing in on the signing of Nathan Patterson.
The Glasgow Rangers full-back would become the second signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Vitaliy Mykolenko.
Patterson was a player Everton pursued in the summer and the club’s interest has intensified in recent weeks.
It is believed that a deal to sign the defender is now close.

The 20-year-old right-back would arrive in deal which is likely to cost in the region of £10m and provide back-up to Seamus Coleman.
Jonjoe Kenny started at right wing-back today against Brighton but Rafa Benitez had made it a January priority to strengthen in that position.
