Everton supporters will be consulted about how they want their matchday experience to look at the club’s new ground.
The Blues announced plans to build a new stadium at Bramley-Moore dock on the banks of the River Mersey in 2017, as they prepare to move away from Goodison Park. The club started work on the development back in July 2021.
Since then, work has continued at pace and it was confirmed on Wednesday evening that the first of the giant trusses that will support the roof structure at the ground had been successfully installed.

The installation of the giant truss was described as 'a milestone moment' by the club. The new build, which is currently recognised as the largest single-site private sector development in the country, is rising rapidly and scheduled to be completed in 2024.
And writing in her programme notes ahead of Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League defeat to Leicester City, Everton chief executive Denise Barrett-Baxendale not only provided supporters with an update on the build, but also revealed fans are set to receive a survey asking for what they want at their new home.
“The progress that has been made on our new stadium since work began in summer 2021 has brought many significant milestones,” she wrote.
“The first spade in the ground. The infill of the dock basin. The installation of the first concrete pillars… the list goes on.
“Each passing milestone is a reminder of the scale of the project, its importance to our future, and the commitment from our majority shareholder to deliver the best possible home for our future - a home that will give us the greatest opportunity to push forward and achieve our ambitions both on and off the pitch.
“With each week, the stadium becomes less a vision and more a reality. A look at the latest photographs or footage shows how it is coming to life before our eyes.”
Before Barrett-Baxendale added: “As we head into the winter months, work will continue on site at pace. Away from it, we will be reaching out to supporters with a survey to get your feedback on the matchday experience you want at Everton Stadium.
“The survey will be wide-ranging and will give us important information on your matchday habits and your expectations.
“The feedback will enable us to ensure a smooth transition from Goodison Park to a stadium that not only delivers aesthetically but provides a year-round offering that is perfect for Evertonians and the envy of the Premier League.”
