Everton chief Farhad Moshiri headed to Liverpool to make Marco Silva decision

Everton's majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is due in Liverpool later today to make a decision on the future of Marco Silva.

Silva is braced for the sack after the Blues slipped into the bottom three last night following the 5-2 humbling against Liverpool at Anfield .

Moshiri was not at the 234th derby but decided to sleep on Silva's situation before making his next move.

Silva now fears being axed and Moshiri is due to hold face-to-face talks with the beleaguered Everton manager this afternoon.

The Portuguese coach has been at Finch Farm today , preparing for Saturday's clash with Chelsea but it appears his 18 month reign at Goodison will be brought to an end later today.

David Moyes has been seen as the favourite to replace Silva, should be sacked, on an interim basis with the possibility to bringing Tim Cahill in as his No2 discussed.
