Andre Gomes misses today’s game with Bournemouth due to a rib injury.
The Portuguese midfielder sustained the problem against Wolves before the international break and has failed a fitness test for the clash at the Vitality Stadium.
Blues boss Marco Silva wanted to give Gomes every chance to prove his fitness but the decision has been taken to leave him out of the squad.
Everton have not put a timescale on Gomes’ recovery and will assess the problem on a daily basis with Silva saying: "He felt something after the Wolves match. He tried to work during the week but in the last days he felt it again. He will miss the game today.
