Carlo Ancelotti says his son Davide can deliver home truths like no other member of his Everton backroom staff.
The 30-year-old was installed as part of the Italian manager's team when he was appointed as Blues boss in December.
Davide has been part of his father's staff at Napoli, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain, working as either assistant manager or fitness coach.
Ancelotti appointed Davide as an assistant, along with Duncan Ferguson, and says his son will offer unfiltered assessments of his decisions.
He reportedly told Corriere della Sera (and cited by calciomercato.com): “The relationship between us is professional, but certainly my son tells me things that no one else tells me, even about the bad things I do...”
