Everton attacker joins Paderborn after permanent transfer completed

Antony Evans has left Everton to join German side Paderborn in a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old was entering the final six months of his contract at Goodison and has today sealed a switch to the Bundesliga.

Evans has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Paderborn and leaves Everton after 12 years at the club.

Paderborn's managing director Martin Przondziono said:  "Antony is an absolute top talent, he has great potential and fits very well with our style of play."

Evans becomes the latest young English talent to move to Germany, joining Jonjoe Kenny, on loan at Schalke, among others in the country.

The talented attacker has scored nine times in 18 appearances for Everton's under-23s this season but has been unable to break through into the first-team during his time at the club.
