Everton are expected to release their latest set of accounts later this month.

A statement, released on the club website on Friday, read: “Everton Football Club has announced that a General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 14 January 2020 at 6pm.

“Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall is the venue for the meeting and the Head of Legal has written to all Shareholders with notification of the specific points of business.”

Everton beat Chelsea 3-1 today as interim manager Duncan Ferguson made a winning start to his spell in charge of the Toffees.
