Talks are progressing between Everton and RB Leipzig over the transfer of Ademola Lookman.
The Blues remain locked in high-level discussions with the Bundesliga outfit but Leipzig are confident an agreement can be reached for the 21-year-old soon.
Lookman is with the Everton squad in Switzerland but an ankle injury picked up in Kenya has prevented him from taking part in full training.
Everton were insistent the winger was not for sale last summer as Leipzig tabled offers but the club's stance has now changed.
But the Blues have told Leipzig they are willing to sell the former Charlton Athletic forward but that their valuation of Lookman, thought to be pushing £25m, must be met.
Talks between the clubs are set to continue into Wednesday but there remains a belief that a deal to take Lookman to Germany on a permanent deal can be finalised.
