Everton and hummel new third kit from every angle

Following its reveal on Wednesday morning, Evertonians are now able to view their new hummel third kit for the 2021/22 season from every angle.

The white, navy and yellow offering is a reinterpretation of Everton’s pioneering away strip of the late 1950s.

The shorts and socks of the outfield shirt are ‘Royal Navy’ blue, with yellow detailing, while the goalkeeper kit consists of a two-tone orange shirt, with orange shorts and orange socks with white detailing.

The patterns used on both the outfield and goalkeeper shirts also gives a nod to hummel’s iconic chevrons and draw inspiration from the bow of a ship.

The kit will be worn for the first time when Rafa Benitez’s side take on Mexican club Pumas in Florida on Wednesday night, and below are a series of images that show the strip from a variety of different angles.

Speaking on the kit, Blues defender Ben Godfrey said: “I’ve always enjoyed taking part in kit shoots because it’s all about that fresh start, that new season and getting ready to give your all again, for the team and the fans.

“I had so much support from the fans in my first season here and was gutted not to be able to play in front of more of them, especially at Goodison Park.

"I really like all three kits - I like how different they all are - and I definitely can’t wait to run out in them at stadiums packed full of Evertonians.”

While Tom Davies added: “I’m a big fan of this kit. I’ve said before, I’d love to design a kit one day and I enjoy seeing the new kits each year - it takes you back to the excitement of being a kid.

“All three kits this year look really good, so it will be great to see the fans back in Goodison, and at stadiums around the country, supporting us and wearing these colours.”
