Everton’s new fitness and rehab coach Cristian Fernandez has confirmed his switch to the Toffees.
Linking up with Rafa Benitez after five years at Newcastle United, Fernandez was at Goodison Park for the 1-0 defeat by West Ham on Sunday.
Sharing an image on social media of the players warming from the Main Stand, the Blues new recruit said: “New chapter...New Home.”

The former Northampton Town fitness coach was handed his chance in the Premier League by Benitez back in 2016 when the Spaniard took charge at St James’ Park.
Much change is expected at Newcastle following the club’s takeover and Fernandez’s switch to Merseyside is the first backroom switch of the new Magpies era, reports The Chronicle.
After leaving, Fernandez said: "After more than five years it is time to say goodbye.
"I want to thank Newcastle United for giving me the opportunity to live great experiences enjoying this amazing Toon, where we have felt at home.
"But above all for being able to meet so many good people who helped me grow personally and professionally."
