Offering an understanding of or appreciation (or even revulsion) for the design we are confronted with every day, this festival should at least make you look at things a bit differently. The V&A hosts most of the exhibitions and events in its extensive progamme, including Wallpaper* magazine's take on the Victorian tradition of improvised public sculpture with their Chair Arch made of Ercol chairs, while visitors to Trafalgar Square can go large on Jaime Hayón's oversized chess set.
