An event celebrating the life of music legend Phil Lynott is happening in Dublin.
The “Bash For Philo” will remember what would have been the 70th birthday of the Thin Lizzy frontman who passed away in 1986.
The event, which is taking place on August 16 and 17, will see a selection of the world’s finest Thin Lizzy tribute bands performing their biggest hits to pay respects to the Dubliner.
There will also be a cake big enough to feed 1,000 people!
The day will also be dedicated to the memory of Phil’s mum Philomena Lynott who passed away recently.
The pre-Bash will take place at The Wild Duck on Friday, August 16, and 'The Bash' will be happening at The Button Factory on Saturday, August 17.
