In newspapers, as in life, there are apologies and then there are apologies. In the case of the London Evening Standard, this one to Rachel Garley, the girlfriend of the late artist Sebastian Horley who the paper referred in error as a prostitute, must rank as the finest in many a decade (hat tip @chrishams).
