Even Rob Gronkowski’s agent doesn’t know what his future is

The New England Patriots are going to enjoy this offseason, and deservedly so.

Just one year after spending the offseason bemoaning their Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and dealing with questions about organizational discontent among owner, coach and star quarterback, the Patriots defied expectations and won the Super Bowl.

Some feel it was the last hoorah for this great dynasty, but when you have Brady and Belichick on your team, you are never out of it.

If the Patriots hope to make it four-straight Super Bowl appearances they’ll certainly want the majority of their Super Bowl team back, especially tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Gronk made the spectacular catch in Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams that helped set up the only touchdown of the game. But the star tight end has dealt with numerous injuries over the years, and with three Super Bowl rings, there’s nothing left to prove.

While Patriots fans anxiously await Gronk’s decision, his agent has come out and said that he, too, is in the dark about his client’s future.

It’s hard to tell if that is good news or bad news for Pats fans. They say no news is good news, though.

Still, I don’t think even the most diehard New England fan could blame Gronk if he retires.

I guess we’ll just all have to wait like Rosenhaus.
